Although Clint Norris was the bassist when this album was recorded, he is not featured on the album on either bass or vocals. Phil Sgrosso is credited with recording bass on the album. David Arthur (Kings To You), a friend of the band, performed all the clean vocals.

Music videos were made for "Confined", "The Darkest Nights" and "Through Struggle".

Limited edition reissue (June 23rd, 2005) features a bonus DVD of a show filmed at the Substage Club in Karlsruhe, Germany on November 28, 2004. Rereleased again on October 17th, 2006.
