Enhanced multimedia section includes a video for the song "Ravenous" on disc 1 and a video for the song "The Immortal" on disc 2.
All tracks on disc 2 are performed during the time former vocalist Johan Liiva was in the band. Disc 2 is only included with the EU/US version of the album.
"Diva Satanica", "Damnation's Way" and "Hydra" were previously available as bonus tracks on the Japanese version of the 'Stigmata' album.
"Diva Satanica" and "Hydra" were also previously available as bonus tracks on the European limited digipack version of the "Burning Bridges" album.
"Fields of Desolation '99" was previously available as a bonus track on Japanese version of the "Burning Bridges" album.
There were huge problems with the release of the album in the American and European markets and available after a delay of almost a year after it was available in Japan.
First release with Angela Gossow on vocal duties.

Mixed and mastered in January, 2001 at Backstage Studios in Ripley, England, United Kingdom.
